For Sale: 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee in Morgantown, Pennsylvania

Vehicle Description

2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT 8

The Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 which proudly wears the initials, SRT8, stands for Street Racing & Technology V8 and is how Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep models identify as the most powerful and sporty models. ... One of the performance models under the Jeep Grand Cherokee banner is this SRT8.

For consignment, a wolf in Jeep's clothing if you will, with a souped up engine, and drivetrain, and now puts out a dyno proven 579.49 HP's! Not only does this 4x4 go fast, but it can pull a super hill or go through mud in a flash with the 4x4 capabilities. All while riding is wonderful leather and suede comfort surrounded by many conveniences. Let's get a little mud on the tires, or at least smoke 'em a bit!

Exterior
Looking much like your unassuming mild mannered upscale Jeep Cherokee the only thing that gives it away are the centrally located exhaust outlets next to each other on back. Also, the front bumper and lower grille shape is modified to be just a bit more menacing than the standard GC. Otherwise, its Steel Blue Metallic, has tinted windows and just a smidgeon of chrome trimming. HID head lighting is now on as is a Euro kit for the taillights. Steel is very straight, and gaps well minded, and rockers are just a bit beefier looking with the SRT body kit. 20-inch polished wheels are wrapped with wider 275/40ZR20's in front and 315/35ZR20's on back. So, is the extra money in the value of this 4x4 worth it? You could say do you see any difference between a Ford Taurus and a Ferrari?!

Interior
Shades of gray for all the surfaces. Front and back seats are wrapped in smooth gray leather, with dark suede inserts. These power seats are all excellent in front and back. The dash presents in more shades of molded gray plastic and for the instrument cluster, these are nestled in a simple arched insert in front of the steering wheel. They have a beautiful blue backlit surround, back lit white numbers and snappy red pointers. Two large and two small circles sum it up. In the center, all functions for the stereo, navi, backup camera, and Bluetooth are controlled by a large screen and surrounding buttons. Brushed stainless mixes with the molded plastic and houses the climate controls seat heaters and anti-skid buttons. This panel seamlessly melts into the console between the buckets, and has a gated shift lever, cup holders and a glovebox. Pristine carpeting in gray covers the floors and rear cargo area which has nary a mark on it. A moon roof is noted in the middle of the gray fuzzy headliner.

Drivetrain
The money shot if you will in the form of a 6.1 Liter Hemi V8. The engine is original to the truck but has undergone some serious mods as to more hp. Included in the laundry list of goodies are a Trinity Diablo Tuner, a BES blower camshaft and a Mopar 2 bar map sensor. The mill sports EFI with a Vortech V3 supercharger, 65lb/hr injectors and a Walbro 455lph in tank fuel pump to keep the juice flowing. On the back is a 5-speed automatic transmission but not your ordinary W58A580. It has a Paramount Performance NAG1 Stage 2 modified valve body with a NAGI TCM trans module. Power gets to the tires via a 3.73 limited slip rear axle. Exhaling is through a Bassani cat back dual exhaust. No expenses spared under this hood.

Undercarriage
All very clean and rust free, solid as a rock under here. For the front suspension Jeep uses short/long independent (SLA) coil springs, gas charged, mono tube coil over shock absorbers, upper and lower control arms and a stabilizer bar. For the back a live axle 4 link with coil springs and a track bar, and gas charged mono tube shock absorbers and a stabilizer bar. Power disc brakes show your roll, and dual Bassani stainless steel exhaust is seen making its way to the dual central rear exit.

Drive-Ability
High performance is an understatement with this AWD rocket ship. Great cornering, and exacting braking along with all the interior conveniences make this not oft seen example of the Grand Cherokee a real find, and a serious contender for anything that comes up to the challenge. This truck comes with its original exhaust, valve body, fluids and a handheld tuner.

You have virtually a new GC, broken in and still all buttoned up. High performance and luxury mix with AWD and good looks and we have a winner. Take the kids to soccer practice in style and you can do it with plenty of time to spare for you to tool around the burbs. Smile!
