The 458 was first introduced to the American market as a 2010
model. It was designed by Pininfarina. Universally, the 458 Italia
received a lot of praise for its gorgeous design and incredible
driving experience. The 458 Italia became the benchmark for what
other supercars should aim to be. The 458 Italia was a radical
departure over the F430 it replaced. The Italia came standard with
a 4.5 liter naturally aspirated V8 engine which produced 562
horsepower. It also came with a very smooth and responsive F1
dual-clutch transmission. This was a huge improvement over the
430's previous generations' single-clutch transmission. The Italia
will get from 0-60 mph in about 3.3 seconds and has a top speed of
202 mph.
