1964 Chevrolet Chevy II Wagon 'Nova' styled
Car is from NC and is rust free! Rare 400 Series. *Brand new ATK 350 V8 with ~700 miles (still driving)*, *AUTO*, *Yukon 8.2 and Disc Brake REAREND*, , *Mustang II FRONT END*. This rust free build has been overhauled the last few years to update the motor, drivetrain, new window motors including functioning rear, gas tank, and brand new paint by well known local shop plus more. The odometer shows '48549' miles however not sure of accuracy. Title states 999,999.
MECHANICAL- It has a new crate ATK HP32 350 (with 350HP) for a great sounding lope cam with Edelbrock Carb/Intake that starts right up, 700R transmission, 4 wheel disc brakes, Mustang II front end with rack & pinion steering, new wiring, shocks, wheels, tires, and exhaust. This is an excellent build and a great running reliable car. All gaps, hinged components, and windows work as they should and look very good. Transmission can be switched to overdrive and there is working heat. New large Aluminum radiator. AC is there however needs connected or updated to latest.
EXTERIOR- The wagon comes in a stunning red paint job with white top complemented by an great looking functional red interior. The body has had a repaint for entire body. Has Vintage wheels with hubs added for the sleeper look (14" front and 15" rear). As many have asked the rear power window is functioning!
INTERIOR- The Cadillac interior is flawlessly grafted into the car to keep true to the era of the '64 using buckets seats and center console to resemble the ever popular Nova styling. Rear seat is functional with a third lapbelt added. The trim and interior have been updated to 'SS' for trim and styling. Currently could use new armrests (on backorder.) The Odometer does increase however not sure of accuracy. B&M Shifter Quick Release. Factory Fuel Gauge works as do other working gauges installed (Battery, Temp, Oil Pressure). The interior is NOVA styled.
The car only has ~700 miles on new crate motor and comes with a file of receipts. Overall, the exterior, interior, undercarriage, and engine bay look newer. Great sounding car with a loping cam and handles very well with the updated suspension. Garage kept, rust free, with all original body parts.
Won't find a more solid car. First Generation Chevrolet Chevy II and Nova's remain extremely popular in collector car circles. Many were produced; however, the survival rate was low. For this reason, quality examples as the one offered here are few and far between.
