Here is a beautiful example of a 1964 Chevrolet Belair 409 4 speed.
The 409 cubic inch engine is a correct QB-suffix 3844422 casting
from 1964. It features two correct Carter 3361S 4-barrel
carburetors and a matching air cleaner. The engine sounds
fantastic, especially when you run the gears of the Borg-Warner
4-speed transmission. The rear suspension features boxed trailing
arms. Braking has been upgraded with a dual reservoir master
cylinder along with power steering. The black interior is all
business with a front bench seat. A set of under dash gauges has
been added along with a column mounted tachometer. There are many
new parts throughout including the seat covers, door panels,
carpet, and headliner. Once you've laid eyes on this beautiful 1964
Bel Air it is hard to look away. And once you've heard it run it's
nearly impossible. With its classic lines, straight rust-free body,
shiny black paint, and thundering 409 it puts on quite a show. The
409 Impalas and Bel Airs of the early 60's are legendary.
