Vehicle Description
Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 2006 Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG
Wagon. One of only 193 W211 E55 wagons imported to the US (and one
of only 64 for the 2006 model year) - these cars are considered
"unicorns" within the enthusiast community. Don't let the mileage
fool you: this example is in beautiful condition and has been
fastidiously maintained under current and previous ownership. In
fact it's so clean that it recently won first place in the local
MBCA concours.
Finished in Perlite Grey metallic, this car is in original paint
with the exception of the front bumper cover. The paint, body and
interior show to a very nice standard with little wear (indeed,
this car is a testament to how well a Mercedes-Benz will hold up if
properly cared for). Seating surfaces are soft, the wood is nice,
no dash cracks. Dynamic seats, xenon headlights, active cruise
control. All stock except for a nicely integrated modern double-din
head unit.
Service under current ownership (since 2017) has included a
suspension rebuild with Arnot air suspension components, tie rods,
brakes, SBC controller, secondary air pump, refinished wheels,
radiator and associated cooling system replacement, valve cover
gaskets, rear differential, all fluids (and 5k-mile oil changes),
belts and pulleys, batteries and more. Brand new Yokohama Advan
tires are mounted on factory 18-inch AMG wheels. The amount spent
on service under current ownership exceeds the asking price of the
car - it's turn key in every sense with no known needs.
The supercharged 5.4 liter V8 was rated at 469 HP and 516 lb-ft of
torque - and when the W211 E55 debuted it was the fastest four-door
sedan (or wagon) in the world. Acceleration is blisteringly fast
even by today's standards and few vehicles with third row seats or
enough cargo capacity to move a small apartment can come close to
keeping up with this wagon. Books, tool roll, tire pump, both keys
and service records are included.
