Cincy Classic Cars is proud to offer this 1979 Z28 which is in beautiful original condition with low actual miles of 35,238. This Z28 is stock original and has not been restored or changed from stock and still shows very well. This Z28 features believed to be mostly original paint, a mostly original blue vinyl interior, the original numbers matching 350 engine, and factory build sheet. This Z28 is very solid with great lines and gaps and has no visible rust on body or frame and was fully rust proofed with Ziebart when new. This Z28 is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of Dark Blue over Blue vinyl interior. This is the factory color scheme as verified on the trim tag and build sheet pictured above.
Exterior
The Dark Blue exterior is in good overall original stock condition. This Z28 has believed to be mostly original paint and decals and overall stil shows very well. The paint is in good condition with no signs of visible rust and both bumpers are in great shape shape with no flaking paint. The paint is 41 years old so there are some blemishes around the car and the decals are original too and show some light wear in places. There may be some minor imperfections that are not noticeable in the photos, but noting was intentionally excluded from the photos. Tires have near full tread left and are sized 225/70/15 and the OEM Rally wheels are in good shape with no curb rash. Trunk is very solid and clean with the original space saver spare tire, jack, and original trunk mat. All the glass is "LOF" factory original. This car was rust proofed when new which has really done its job and kept this car from having rust issues. There are numerous factory tags and markings on the underside of this car but a lot of it is covered up by the rust proofing.
Interior
The Blue vinyl interior of this Z28 is in great mostly original condition. The original seat covers are in great overall condition with no major wear or seam splits. These are original covers not some cheap aftermarket covers. The carpet is in excellent shape with no major stains, rips, or holes. The original dash is in excellent condition with no cracks or fading and the dash bezel is in great condition as well. The original stereo still works well and thankfully the dash has not been cut for a modern stereo. The door panels are original and in nice condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact. The package tray is in good condition as well. The headliner appears to have been replaced and is like new. All interior lights and gauges work as they should outside of the clock. The cigarette lighter is in working order. The horn, stereo, blower motor, and wipers also work. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever.
Mechanical
This Z28 is in excellent mechanical condition with only 35,238 actual miles on the original 350 engine. In the video one can observe this car running with no excessive rattles or noises, and the car handles and performs well. This Z28 is an exceptional driver that feels great on the road and at highway speeds. There is no smoke when starting or driving the car. It starts right away every time, idles well, and runs great. The brakes do not pull and stop as they should. The exhaust was replaced from the cat back and has a nice rumble at idle and cruising speeds. A new radiator was added with new radiator hoses. A newer alternator and newer master cylinder was added as well. This car is a blast to drive and turns heads where ever it goes. Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos. The engine bay of this Z28 is exceptionally stock and unmolested showing several original tags, hoses, clamps, decals, stickers, clamps, clips, and the like. This is a factory NON AC car which really cleans up the engine bay and adds to performance. Cars like this are only original once and this Z28 is about as original as it comes for having 35K miles on it.
