the most popular and iconic muscle cars produced during the 'Golden
Age' of muscle (1964-1974). Excellent styling, tidy dimensions, and

Super Sports, performance was available by the bushel. Our sweet
1966 Chevelle SS 396 is an excellent example of the breed and
beautifully demonstrates all of these qualities. Beneath the
aggressive and correct SS hood rests the numbers matching (EC
T0602EKH, VD B175401) 396 ci big block. The engine was completely
rebuilt by the pros at Brangers Performance and Machine whose
services included hot tanking and bake blasting the block, boring
and honing with torque plates, reconditioning and milling of heads,
checking and cleaning of the crankshaft, and installation of new
rod and main bearings, new cam bearings, new freeze and oil galley
plugs, reconditioned rods with ARP bolts, and new cam, lifters,
pistons, and rings. Additional features include power steering,
automatic transmission, bucket seats with console and clock,12-bolt
rear end with 3.31 gears, Rally wheels, and a newer stereo. This
crimson cruiser runs and drives beautifully, feeling as if it had
been hewn from a single steel ingot. Documentation includes the
Protect-O-Plate, build card, original owner's manual, copies of
