This 1974 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu is the kind of classic American
coupe you knew was out there waiting to be discovered. It takes the
beautiful lines of this gen Malibu and adds an ultra-hot V8 and a

This generation of Chevelle is now really getting appreciated for

We love Chevy's 400 cubic-inch V8 because it offers big block
displacement in a small block weight, and while that was available
in 1974, you can see this one is far from stock. It was given a
full Edelbrock upgrade suite with the four-barrel carburetor, air
gap intake, polished air grabber, and finned valve covers. In fact,
we were told this is a full build motor that was said to be pushing
425 horsepower to the rear wheels! That's why you have those grippy
Mickey Thompson ET Street rear tires and beefed-up rear suspension.
And while there is a street-eating attitude, the three-speed
automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, and front
discs give it good cruising nature, too.
