This 1983 Jeep CJ7 Golden Eagle Tribute is so new off its full
restoration that its new V8 is still under warranty. It's so fresh
over every inch that its undercarriage looks better than many
people's paintwork! But while this CJ is a looker, it also has all
the right pieces to remind you that a premium Golden Eagle is just
as much about looking chic as it is about being capable of handling
any terrain.
The Trans Am might have its screaming chicken on the hood, but that
can't hold a patriotic candle to the bird that graces the front on
a Golden Eagle Jeep. But there's much more to this than just
graphics. The Golden Eagle was a top-of-the-line limited edition
package on par with the Renegade, so this one pays proper tribute
by giving you a ton of premium distinction. It starts with an
upgrade to the glossy black paint. This was a labor-intensive
process where the body was stripped down to the metal, sandblasted,
and sealed with 2K epoxy primer inside and out. Then the black went
on top and included five coats of clear. The result is a piano-like
luster in the sunshine. It's the right color to go with the Golden
Eagle graphics and stylish full pinstriping. This one is a stunner
because it's so fresh. But it also never wants to be too fancy that
you would give up the off-road lifestyle. After all, that's why you
have the Rough Country four-inch suspension lift, a full-size spare
on a swing-away mount, and the Smittybilt 9500 XRC winch leading
the way. And the full idea of both premium and capable comes
together perfectly on the polished Cragar Nomad wheels with
off-road ready Kenda Klever AT tires.
The interior is a beautiful package that loves to be shared with
the world. So it looks good no matter if you have the new Bestop
soft door and bikini top in place, or if you are just running a
full naked machine. This is upgraded in the right places, like the
full set of Corbeau leather seats, including the high-back buckets
up front. And the radio is now an AM/FM/CD stereo with Bluetooth.
Other pieces just enhance the classic style, like the restored full
gauges package with handy tach. In fact, it's likely the odometer
is the only part that reflects the original body, and everything
else is new. The only thing that is believed to have not been
replaced or restored inside is the steering wheel. It gives you
that unmistakable grip while letting you get in touch (literally)
with the generations of enthusiasts that came before you.
The engine bay continues this Jeep's full fresh style. The engine
bay looks brand new because it is! We have a receipt showing the
new AMC 304 cubic-inch V8 motor installed in August 2021. So you'll
still have the majority of the 2-year/24k-mile warranty. The
five-speed manual transmission gives you firm control over it all.
Power steering, power brakes, and front discs are good for anytime
driving. And of course, the two-speed 4x4 transfer case keeps this
a true off-road Jeep. Because this was a frame-off restoration,
they took the time to sandblast the frame, axles, and all other
major metal. It was rebuilt with all the right new pieces, like the
bolts, brake lines, hangars, shocks, steering stabilizer, and
complete urethane bushings kit. So while this will ride like a true
lifted CJ, you can also feel the kind of solid quality that this
couldn't even deliver when it was brand new.
The full restoration was said to take 400 hours to complete, and
the superior results speak for themselves. The sale even comes with
build receipts and restoration photos so you can document for
others this CJ's full Golden Eagle transformation. So if you want a
fresh classic 4x4 of distinction, call today!
