Everyone knows about the Model T that Henry Ford built from 1908 to
1927 and made history with. And most people know of or have seen a
Hot Rod as the history of "Hot Rodders" has a deep history here
starting in the 30's with boot leggers modifying engines in stock
what were usually ford V8's to outrun the police with stolen hooch.
However, hot rodding really heated up just post WWII when
servicemen got back from the war, had a few bucks in their pockets
and were wanting something more fun after their time away. Modelt
Ts in the late 40's were cheap...really cheap. They could buy them
for litteraly dollars and put what were now higher horsepower
modern V8's in them, cut them up, paint them and make them their
own creation. What we have here is no exception, but a back yard
hot rod this is not. This is a well built rod based on a 1927 Model
T that was built by Spirit Industries with no expense being spared.
The car started being built in 2010. We have all of the receipts
and build sheet/specs for this car in addition to all the other
maintenance done on the car including an engine rebuild, blueprint
and dyno specs that was done by SRL Motorsports in 2014. This T
starts, runs and sounds mean....There are less than 2000 miles on
this car with no drivability issues whatsoever. All lights and
gauges work as they should and it commands attention wherever it
goes. Let us know if you have any questions.
