This 1979 Ford Bronco has a dark style, mean stance, and proper V8
power to back it all up. So this is the full-size classic 4x4
you've been waiting for.
The second-generation Bronco is where Ford turned it up a notch.
Larger styling, larger engines, and an overall larger presence. So
it was an instant legend even if it was only around for two short
years. This bolder Bronco idea was really taken to heart in this
example. It has a rugged style with a lifted suspension. And the
dark metallic green paint has a good gloss in the sunshine without
ever looking too fancy for you to hesitate to venture off onto an
unbeaten path. There are even wide towing mirrors and a proper
trailer hitch so you can bring more of the fun with you.
There's even more dark appeal inside. The rugged liner paint on the
floor reminds you that this one is great for taking off the rear
hardtop and opening it up to the world. There are even handy
features like an upgraded rear roll bar and a newer rear bench seat
covered in weather-resistant vinyl. The front seats always stay
covered, and so they were upgraded to modern high-back buckets with
better bolstering. Even the headliner was upgraded to a unit that
can hold upgraded speakers. And there are some nice driver-oriented
upgrades like the sports steering wheel and column-mounted tach.
And we love this generation of Bronco for having a wide tailgate
and power rear window. It makes it easier to bring the fun
everywhere from the ballpark to the campsite.
While the previous generation Bronco stopped at Ford's 302 V8, the
second-gen means proper 351 cubic inches of power. This is the kind
of motor that loves upgrades, and so they invested in extra muscle
with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and long tube headers. So
you have a robust motor that has a great V8 sound from the dual
exhaust. A two-speed 4x4 transfer case, beefy axles, upgraded
shocks, and deep tread on the tires mean this powerful classic can
still take you deep into the wilderness. But it also has features
like a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and
power brakes with front discs to make it a fine choice for
in-town.
The second-generation Bronco was only available for a couple of
years. So when you can find an example that has a dark horse look
and a powerful package, then you know you need to hurry on this
deal. Call today!!!
