For Sale: 1969 Chevrolet Corvette in Boston, Massachusetts

Vehicle Description

1969 Chevrolet Corvette 2 door Roadster Dual Top Malibu Blue

This 1969 Corvette convertible has received a complete restoration within the last 20 years.

The original L46 350 V8 has been replaced with a newer corvette powerplant from the 80’s or early

90’s. The engine is a fuel injected 5.7L V8 with a four-speed transmission. The car has dual tops, an

aftermarket hood, aftermarket side exhaust and a recovered interior. There are no signs of previous

collision history. The VIN and options tag show that this car is as equipped from the factory. The

engine numbers indicate that this is a true matching numbers car with the original powertrain from the

factory.

The engine bay is in very good condition overall. It is clean; everything appears to be original and properly
maintained with no signs of poor craftsmanship. The engine looks to be professionally installed and there are
no signs of poor craftsmanship. All of the hoses, connectors, and wiring appear to be in very good condition
with no corrosion or damage, nor any corrosion signs to any engine or components. There was no previous
structural or inner body damage or any disrepair. The frame rails are solid and straight, the inner fenders are in
very good condition. See owner documentation for full list of detailed build maintenance history.

Chassis: (Overall Condition Grade 3)
The original, unrestored and maintained chassis is very clean, solid and is in very good condition for the age.
The shocks, springs, fuel tank, brakes, axles and exhaust system as well as everything else on the chassis are
in very good operating condition with few signs of aging. There are some minor areas of surface rust on some
suspension and exhaust components. The floor boards are solid and the frame rails are in very good condition
as well the underside of the body. The original Corvette wheels are all in very good condition and the tires are
in good condition and measured with plenty of tread depth but are aged and will most likely need to be
replaced.

Interior: (Overall Condition Grade 3)
The interior is in very good condition, clean, dry and complete. The dash pad is in very good condition with
good color, no fading and no cracks. The original gauges and trim are all in very good condition with very light
hazing and everything was legible and operating correctly. The recently recovered vinyl buckets are clean with
good stitching and color. The carpet is in very good condition but a bit faded in some spots, the rubber seals on
the doors are in very good condition. The glass is all in very good condition as well. The interior to the soft top
is in good condition but starting to develop some light mold.

Exterior: (Overall Condition Grade 3)
The exterior is in very good condition overall. The paint color is even all the way around, the finish is has a nice
shine and there are few imperfections noted in the paint. All body panels are very smooth and even and panel
fit is very good, the doors do not drop. The soft top and hard top are both in very good condition. The exterior
trim, door handles, badges, and mirrors are all in very good condition with little discoloration or signs of age
and shine bright. Overall, a nice, restored driver quality car that will need some minor attention to get it up and
running.
