The first generation Thunderbird hit the streets to compete with
the very well received Chevrolet Corvette. Two seat roadsters from
overseas now had a domestic roadster from Ford and Chevy to worry
about and as the years passed the engines got bigger. This 1955
came with Ford's 312 CID V8 which propelled the smaller Tbird to
high speeds with no problem. The removable hardtop comes off with
ease and a soft top can fold up from behind the seat, offering
occupants three different roofing options at all times. Hard, soft,
or open. The paint on this car is in pretty good shape and the
interior should score a 9/10 no matter who is judging it. It starts
with ease and stays running with no effort. Select your gear with
the floor mounted shifter and you are cruising right away! The
power steering and brakes are working as intended and everyone
turns their head when you roll by. Financing is easy and trades are
welcome, so call, click, or come by today!
