For Sale: 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air in Volo, Illinois

Vehicle Description

This 57 is a classic act. Gorgeous colors,, wheels and stance. Body off frame restored with all the upgrades- a/c, power steering, power disc brakes and much more. Inside your will be treated to soft leather upholstery, power windows and seat.

EXTERIOR: The body is straight as a rifle barrel. There's no dents, damage or rust. The body panels lineup square and flush. The lipstick red is like glass. It is smooth and glossy top to bottom. The jambs are slick. Every single piece of chrome was replaced from the bumpers to the vent window pillars and even the wiper arm bases. It has optional dual mirrors and door handle guards. Every piece stainless is polished like chrome. The flippers over the door windows function. All new smoked glass, not a stick on tint. The window frames are new chrome. All the weather strips and window seals were replaced. 3 bar Halogen headlights, bow tie brake light lenses, a 3rd brake light and optional reverse lights. Great looking chrome plated aluminum Cragar Street Pro wheels. Upgraded electric wiper system.

INTERIOR: Glove soft leather upholstery. The passenger seat reclines, the driver's is 6 way power. Custom sculpted headliner and door panels. There's a center console which has the power window switches and there's an overhead console. The dash is painted as slick as the car. It has digital gauges and clock. New heater controls that look factory also operate the a/c. The tilt column has a leather Lecarra steering wheel.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Better put on your sunglasses because everything under the hood is sparkling. All the metal surfaces are painted smooth and glossy. The core support is chromed. The motor is decked out with highly polished aluminum intake, valve covers, plug wire holders and air cleaner lid. It's a 350 with headers, Holley carb with electric choke and HEI ignition. The front of the motor has billet brackets, chrome pulleys, aluminum A/C compressor, chrome alternator and power steering. The power brakes have a chrome master cylinder. Runs cool with an aluminum water pump, stainless heater hoses, a giant Ron Davis aluminum radiator with an electric fan and polished overflow bottle. The a/c condenser matches the radiator. It has new horns, new hinges and a chrome hood latch.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Super clean metal with a smooth glossy red paint. New wiring harness, rubber mat, seat divider and weatherstrip.

UNDERSIDE: The body was taken off the frame and flipped upside down on a rotisserie. The floors are all clean metal painted gloss red. The chassis was completely restored, the frame was painted and the bushings were replaced. The front end was completely rebuilt including shocks, springs, ball joints, bushings and an upgraded sway bar. The rear suspension has new bushings, shocks and a sway bar. The brake system was upgraded with disc at all 4 wheels, the e-brake assembly is hooked up. It has a custom dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. The fuel system was replaced including the tank, straps, sending unit and fuel lines. Bottom of the motor has a chrome oil pan, starter looks new, flywheel cover is painted gloss black. It has a rebuilt Turbo 350 automatic with a remote finned aluminum oil cooler. U-joints were replaced. It has a 10 bolt rear end.

We've had several 57s roll through here, this one is special. Very tastefully done, excellent fit and finishes.
