Vehicle Description
This 1931 Ford 5-Window Coupe is a steel-bodied classic build that
showcases slick paint, a custom/comfy interior, an upgraded
suspension, and proper V8 power. And of course, there's nothing
cooler than a classic Ford cruiser with a rumble seat in the
back.
The light blue paint has a hint of metallic, and you can really
tell they took extra time and money to lay this down. So the
terrific luster has an extra radiance as the sunlight loves to show
off flowing fender lines and the straight body of this steel body
car. This is a thoughtful build, and you see it in the details,
like how the darker blue striping with light blue inlay was a
package that was added before the final clearcoats, and so you have
a uniform and protected total color theme. This has all the best
classic brightwork pieces, like the bright chrome bumpers, grille
guard, headlight bezels, and step plates to get into the rumble
seat. Plus, there are spotty additions that shine bright, too, like
the dual exhaust tips, and 15-inch wheels with larger rear tires
for a great stance.
The two-tone gray of the interior goes well with the silvery blue
exterior, and you know that because the color returns on places
like the dash and steering column. There are the right classic
touches, like the tuck and roll pattern to the upholstery and a
stoplight view on the dash. But you can also tell that there have
been plenty of investments in modern comfort. The LED lighting,
full carpeting, and AM/FM/CD stereo w/Bluetooth mounted in the
headliner make for a more comfortable cruiser. The driver even gets
useful upgrades like a banjo-style steering wheel on a tilt column,
a Lokar floor shifter, and crisp Classic Instruments gauges. But
what makes this one truly distinguishable is the rumble seat in the
rear, and you can even roll down the back window so that everyone
stays in contact.
The engine bay shows off more attention to detail. It's easy
keeping this on display with thoughtful features like the smooth
firewall, color-matched engine block, and plenty of polished
components. This 305 cubic-inch V8. It has been upgraded with an
Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock intake, and headers
feeding the rumbling dual exhaust. There's even an aluminum
radiator with an electric fan to help keep the full package running
cool. As you look at the undercarriage photos, you see the clean
look of a well-done build. You'll also spot great driving features
like a Mustang II-style front end, ladder bars in the rear, and
adjustable coilovers all-around. Plus, you have rack & pinion
steering, a three-speed automatic transmission, and front disc
brakes. So this is built for plenty of fun driving all weekend
long.
A terrific shine, a comfy interior, and proper V8 power are all
part of a stylish total package. So if you want a thoughtfully
finished rumble seat coupe, you know this is the one. Call
