This unrestored 1971 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser 4x4 is powered by its original numbers matching 6 cyl. 3878cc/155hp 2bbl. mated to the original 3-speed manual transmission. This is one of the nicest unrestored FJ40’s left. It was originally sold on 10-16-71 by Longo Toyota in El Monte California. Dealer installed options were a Warn 8000 lb electric winch and Warn locking hubs. Original manuals included for both. Warranty registration, vehicle identification card, and California DMV temporary registration, all in the first purchasers name, living in Rosemead, California are all included. Included is the little plastic pouch that the dealer hung on the dash knob with the original papers and the envelope that the warranty card arrived in. Also included is a very rare factory little plug in 12v trouble light that has never been used.
Factory rear heater. Original keys. Original wheels and hubcaps, not only correct, but the originals (5) wrapped in brand new Goodyear Wrangler tires. Starts, runs and drives excellent, absolutely no issues, everything works! Never seen snow or salt. Original steering wheel and horn button. Still retains the original Koito headlight bulbs and they work. Underside and engine compartment have their unaltered and original patina. This truck is 100% solid with no rot anywhere.
