This 1986 C10 sports a patina paint job that has multiple layers
all the way down to bare metal. It is the perfect truck for someone
that loves the flawed outside CLEAN inside look. Moneypit caught
it's name after we accumulated an inch of invoices. The long list
of new parts includes Nitto tires, 20 inch rally wheels, rotors,
calipers, pads, lowering kit with C-notch, LED headlights with
switchback DRL/turn indicators, tail lights, grill, side markers,
and we're just getting started. Under the hood lies a freshly
rebuilt 305 V8 with red valve covers and accents, a FiTech EFI fuel
delivery system including the Fuel Command Center 2.0, Hooker long
tube headers, Flowmaster mufflers, an aluminum radiator with
electric fans, a/c compressor/condensor/evaporator, hoses, belts,
and fluids that are all new and working to perfection. Inside is
where LMC truck came into play where we ordered just about one of
everything that makes a squarebody's interior complete. New carpet,
sill plates, steering wheel, TMI leather seat, door panels, and a
dash pad were all ordered in black. The rest of the panels were
removed, refinished, and reinstalled to match. The radio was
replaced with a Retro Sound head unit offering new technology out
of a classic look and 6 Cerwin Vega speakers were installed in the
dash, doors, and rear pillars. It jams! It was a fun project to
work on, but it is way more fun to drive around. It draws more
looks and compliments than any of our other C10 trucks to date.
