1967 Austin Healey 3000 MKIII BJ8 is the last year of the "Big
Healey". With its inline 6-cylinder 3-liter motor producing 150hp
mated to a factory overdrive transmission. The BJ8 is the most
powerful and luxurious of the big Healeys with wind up windows and
walnut veneer dash.
This Austin Healey has had a comprehensive mechanical and cosmetic
restoration completed approximately 15 years ago which was
performed by a British car specialty shop British Cars R&R.
This BJ8 is finished in the classic color of Colorado Red with
black vinyl top and black interior all of which show very well with
no areas of excessive wear or deterioration. The wood steering
wheel and walnut dash gleams against the Smith gauges and
fundamental toggle switches. The exterior of the car is accented
with 72 spoke chrome wheels.
According to the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust and verified
by accompanying photos this 1967 Austin Healey BJ8 has a complete
numbers matching driveline.
