Car History
The 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 is one of the meanest looking
muscle cars Chevy ever made with its big block power, muscle car
suspension, and SS emblems. We have a great every-nut-and-bolt
restored Frost Green with a black vinyl top 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle
SS 396 here today at Adventure Classics.
It has the factory build sheet that shows it is a real one. It had
the factory options including vinyl roof, air conditioning, sport
striping, hHeavy Duty front and rear springs, power brakes and
power disc brakes up front, the L35 396 engine, the M40 Turbo
automatic transmission, power steering, and came with F70-14
tires.

Engine & Drivetrain
Our Chevelle has a correct 396 cubic inch big block Chevy engine
that had 325 horsepower rating straight from the factory.
Our engine looks great with its block, heads, and factory intake
painted in the correct factory shade of Chevy Orange paint, along
with parts such as the four-barrel carburetor, factory cast iron
exhaust manifolds, rumbling dual exhaust, chrome open air cleaner
and chrome valve covers, black spark plug wires, power steering,
power brakes, factory air conditioning, and all sitting in the
nicely painted and detailed engine bay.
It sends the power to the ground via a three-speed Turbohydramatic
transmission and a 12-bolt rear end.
Interior
This Chevelle is all business on the inside with the great factory
matching black interior with the split bench front seat and rear
seat in excellent black vinyl, black carpeting, column mounted
shifter, black vinyl three-spoke sports steering wheel, full
factory gauge panel, air conditioning, and pushbutton radio.
Everything inside is perfect as is the headliner and matching door
panels as well as the trunk with its grey factory type mat, spare
tire, jack, and spare tire cover.
Exterior
Everything looks brand new on the outside of this Chevelle from the
chrome bumpers to the straightness of the that is painted in a
factory-correct 1969 color of Frost Green.
It has all the SS badging, the factory correct SS 396 stripe,
blacked-out grille and tail panel, the twin hood power bulges,
black vinyl top, and our Chevelle rides on factory chrome 5-spoke
mag wheels on raised white letter (Coker) Firestone Wide Oval
performance tires to give it that factory SS 396 look and mean
stance.
