Vehicle Description
Take a moment to really understand what you are looking at. This is
a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS 396 with its numbers-matching motor...So
it's no clone! And there have been the right investments to give
you the best in classic features - everything from the extra clean
houndstooth interior to the four-speed. And there's even extra
muscle coming out of the big block. It makes for the kind of
classic that you're going to love to both show and drive.
You may not know too many Camaros in brown, but this is one of the
few that was born in Burnished Brown. And since this was one of the
least chosen colors in 1969, we're glad they chose to keep the same
tone when restoring this coupe. In fact, the trim tag tells us this
one has a bunch of desirable features. After all, the correct and
pristine black vinyl top adds a touch of sophistication that goes
well with the deep brown. The black on the roof also goes with the
great Super Sport pieces, like the blackout grille, chin splitter,
blackout rear panel, and D90 hockey stick stripe. Good panels, good
alignment, and great chrome really give this a quality look. In
fact, this one is stylish, right down to correct details, like the
velocity stack hood trim and classic Firestone Wide Oval tires.
The iconic houndstooth cloth interior is another one of those
special factory-correct pieces on this car. The restoration made
sure this looked solid, right down to the buttons on the seatbacks.
There is an awesome classic style to the full presentation - from
the clean deluxe door panels to the Delco AM radio that's still
cranking out tunes. And this SS remains a true driver's car with
front bucket seats, the classic three-spoke sports steering wheel,
and a desirable center console that has both the quad auxiliary
gauge package and a Hurst shifter.
Under the hood is the numbers-matching 396 cubic-inch big block V8.
It has a tidy presentation where you can see all the correct
pieces, like the polished covers, matching air grabber with
callout, and big orange block. But you can also instantly recognize
money spent in upgrading the power. This includes aluminum heads,
an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, and a Holley four-barrel
carburetor. And the long tube headers let this big block exhale
with added power and authority into the dual exhaust. Plus,
investments in everything from a large aluminum radiator to new
front bushings make this a solid driver's classic. And the clean
undercarriage photos prove there have been quality investments over
every inch of this coupe. This Camaro has desirable features like
power steering, power brakes, and front discs. Of course, we know
you'll love taking full control of the enhanced V8 and its rumbling
soundtrack with the four-speed manual transmission.
This is the real-deal Camaro SS 396 that came with the right
features and has been restored to really showcase it all. So don't
miss this rare treat. Call today!!!
