For Sale: 1989 Jaguar XJ in Carey, Illinois

This is an amazing and simply gorgeous condition Jaguar XJS sports coupe. Finished in Red with biscuit tan leather interior there is virtually nothing on this example that is not simply in excellent condition. This is a 3 owner car with some 55,900 miles, residing in Illinois its whole life but not driven in inclement weather - it is without a spec of rust anywhere. Everything works completely as it should and as pictures show, is in immaculate presentation. Mechanically the car is in good shape with no outstanding issues. Just a quick look under the hood is testament to how well this XJS has been maintained. Every single feature and function works as it should; windows, door locks, antenna, stereo, A/C, heater, interior and exterior lights, horn (both high and low).... the complete list. Body and paint is excellent. Very shiny and consistent with only the most minor chip here and there. There is no rust in the typical areas namely; the bottom of the front and rear windows, lower fenders, rockers and wheel arches. Unlike many Jaguars of the era, this one is free of the ugly side mouldings installed by dealers when new. Mounted are Cooper 235/60-15 tyres with plenty of tread on good condition chrome wire wheels. The spare is the factory original alloy. The interior is in wonderful condition with virtually no wear. The factory carpets are excellent and the headliner is in perfect condition ~ without any of the typical "droop" usually seen on this model. The leather is stunning, the dash like a new one and the mahogany wood in above average condition with only some clear coat cracks on the glovebox fascia. The ski-slope, switches, console are all in fine condition. Have a close look at all the buttons and switch gear; they are all in excellent condition. Even the factory leather steering wheel is good shape. All simply amazing. She is also a non-smoker car so clean and sweet.
