This 1970 BMW R75/5 is the perfect bike for a rider looking to have
a classic BMW motorcycle for an affordable price. The four stroke,
air-cooled, 745cc engine comes to an easy kick start. The Bing
carburetors deliver the needed fuel to both cylinders on this
classic Boxer engine. The factory produced 50 horsepower is
transferred to the rear wheel through a 4-speed transmission and
drive shaft. The drum brakes bring this 500-pound BMW to a quick
stop.
This R75/5 has been refinished in the proper Rennsport Red with
white pin striping. The tank and fender paint has a quality shine
and coverage, with small imperfections that can be seen when close
up. The frame is rust free and is painted with in high gloss black.
The tires are in like new condition and are on slightly patinaed
rims. The gauge cluster does not appear to be working properly and
will need to be rebuilt or replaced.
This numbers matching, classic BMW motorcycle is ready to hit the
road now or be partially restored and brought to the next
level.
