One of the finest original Series I Clenet's remaining. Previously
in the Jerry Capizzi collection which was comprised of show winning
Ford, Lincoln and Mercury automobiles. The Clenet is powered by a
Ford 351 cubic inch V8 engine and equipped with an automatic
transmission, power steering, power brakes and air conditioning.
Early production Clenet automobiles were built in Santa Barbara
California by Alain Clenet. Many were sold new to celebrity owners.
This is #191 of 250 series I cars built. Only 4,000 original miles
and maintained in climate controlled storage. A truly remarkable
example! Excellent original paint and chrome. Factory etched glass
and an interior that features glove soft leather, flawless wood
trim and Clenet's signature crystal ashtray by Waterford. The
engine compartment is nicely detailed and the carpeted trunk houses
a matching suit case that can be strapped to the top of the trunk
lid. The hardtop is removable and there is a soft top as well.
There is a soft boot that covers the retracted top and a tonneau
cover that can be easily snapped in place to cover the entire
cockpit. The build quality of a Clenet is exceptional and far above
that of other neo-classics of the era. Asking $75,000 obo. Call
