This 1975 Ford F-250 is a Highboy Ranger. This is a very cool and
original truck and the last owner has owned the truck for the last
25 years or so. This is an Idaho truck that was well cared for and
was used on a regular basis until recently. The 117,295 miles are
original based on our conversation with the last owner. The body on
this rig is really nice an appears to be all original with the
exception of the paint. It was repainted one time many years ago in
its original color of Vineyard Gold and the paint still looks great
and polished up nice. All of the original chrome and moldings are
still in nice condition and the underside is original and solid.
The bed is also solid and this truck has the side tool box. The
interior is mostly stock and original. This includes the dash, dash
bezel, and door panels. The seat was redone years ago and there was
recently a new floor mat, headliner, and shifter boots
installed.
Mechanically this truck is great and it runs and drives really
nice!! The engine is a 360 V8 and it is believed to be the
original. It appears totally stock and it runs strong and smooth.
We found no issues or red flags but we were not able to get the
maintenance records. The transmission is the np435 4 Speed manual
and it is mated to the np205 transfer case. The 4WD works like it
should. It has a Dana 60 Rear End with 4.10 gears and a Limited
Slip. The front end is a Dana 44 with 4.10 gears. This truck does
have power steering and power brakes. This is a great looking
original truck that runs and drives great!
