Vehicle Description
The bold two-tone and sporty stance instantly shows off this 1979
Chevrolet C10 Custom Deluxe as something special. And when you see
all the other upgrades like the fuel-injected motor, overdrive
transmission, and custom A/C interior, you can see this was done to
be a thoughtful total package.
The custom paint package intertwines the vivid blue and silver.
These are two distinct colors that are united in freshness and
luster because this build was a frame-off restoration completed in
2020. It's a quality total package with a black pinstripe providing
a clean dividing line. And we particularly like the way the layout
draws attention to the desirable stepside bed. Plus, this is
attractive for its speedy upgrades. There's a power dome on the
cowl hood, side dual exhaust, and lowered suspension. But even with
all these upgrades, they also took the time to present a great
classic. The grille is inspired by the stock style, but it's a
newer piece to make sure it goes with the mirror-like chrome
bumper. Those wide tires are mounted on classic Rally wheels. And
the bed looks absolutely awesome with all that fresh and glossy
lumber.
The interior starts with classic truck appeal and then adds in
solid upgrades. For example, you have the classic bench seat, but
it's done in a custom silver and blue to go with the exterior. The
same goes for the door panels, sun visors, and dash. And we
particularly like the blue interior lighting. There's the right
added comfort with features such as retro-style AM/FM digital
stereo and cold-blowing R-134a air conditioning. And it's built for
driving with an upgraded sports steering wheel, tilt column, and
upgraded Dakota Digital gauges.
The 5.3-liter Vortec fuel-injected V8 comes from the truck branch
of the LS motor family tree (likely only about 65k miles on the
motor.) So that makes for a great modern powerhouse that respects
its lineage. It fires up readily and runs with that ideal modern V8
strength. There's a nice set of long tube headers that add both
muscle and rumble as it feeds the side-exit Flowmaster exhaust.
This one is built to be an all-around driver. So the aluminum
radiator helps keep you running cool even in traffic with the A/C
running. And the 4L60E four-speed automatic transmission was
rebuilt with Corvette servo for better shifting all the way into
overdrive. Plus, power steering, power brakes, front discs, and
fresh suspension components make for a confident cruiser.
Complete with the build receipts, this is the well-done custom
package that gives you a cool classic with everyday appeal. Don't
