For Sale: 1971 Ford Ranchero in Lithia Springs, Georgia

Vehicle Description

This 1971 Ford Ranchero has an upgraded A/C interior, a strong/fresh V8, and an awesome-looking detailed midnight package. So this is a mean-looking machine that has been given plenty of investments to be extra-nice to enjoy.

The '71 Ranchero had one of the best designs going. Having the Torino as a close sibling meant it gets the same attractive touches, like the style line that starts at the tip of the front fender and arcs all the way through the door line. And this Torino connection also means it has some of the best muscle car elements, like the wide stance of a road-owning car. That aggressive attitude is heightened on this truck/car's midnight style. This starts with the hot rod matte black paint. It's an even application that's made even more attractive by the subtle contrast of the gloss black. It's not only on the racing stripe, but also the full trim, including the bumpers, grille, door handles, tail light bezels, and all the trim surrounding the bed. And we especially love the black solid steel wheels that have a hot rod look but modern 20-inch size. The chin spoiler, hood pins, and headlights that look like bright menacing eyes deliver quite a powerful appearance. And while this Ranchero has style, it still has true pickup substance. Liner paint in the bed, tie-down handles, and a trailer hitch are all there to make this great for everything from weekend chores to carrying your motorcycle.

The black interior continues the mean as midnight style, but the feeling is also of a nicely upgraded car. Newer seat covers, newer door panels, good carpeting, and a smooth dash all have a good feel. There are comfort upgrades, like R134a air conditioning, cup holders, and an AM/FM/XM stereo with USB and Bluetooth. The Cobra steering wheel reminds you of the best Ford performance machines, and the newer gauge package gives you crisp/clear readouts that includes a tach.

The engine bay has more of the dark style, but there's also an unmistakable freshness. This 351 cubic-inch V8 was given a full professional overhaul about four years ago. So there's a sharp style to everything from the shock tower bushings to the Cobra callout on the air grabber. It was nicely built with a Summit four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and MSD ignition, and an aluminum radiator w/dual electric fans. It fires up nicely with a sweet tune out of the Pypes mufflers on the dual exhaust. But there's also an electric cutout for whenever you want this to have the right growl to back up its dark-heart appearance. You also have a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, front discs, and modern ZR-rated tires afforded by the wheel upgrades. So this mean Ranchero is also an easy driver.

The sale comes complete with the receipts documenting years of the right investments and maintenance. So it's amazing this mean and the loaded machine is also so nicely affordable. Call today!!!
