When you take a nicely finished 1966 Ford Mustang and upgrade it to
a Shelby GT350 tribute, the result is something special. So look
over the clean style of this distinct and well-presented
classic.
Wimbledon White is a legendary Ford color, especially for Shelby
cars, and so it's great to see it so nicely presented here. It's
got a quality gloss that lets the sunlight show off the clean and
straight body panels. As you dig into the details, you'll see
plenty of features that make this a proper Shelby tribute. This
includes the hood scoop, side scoops, and grille with offset pony
emblem. They even took the time to get Halibrand-style wheels with
Shelby emblems in the simulated knock-off hubs. The red stripe
package is done exceptionally well. That's why it starts below the
front bumper, runs all the way over the car (including the roof,)
and it doesn't stop until under the license plate. Of course, the
matching GT350 side stripes are also a must-have for a proper
tribute.
The color theme continues inside, but now red is the dominant color
and white is used for accenting. You'll appreciate the level of
detail inside with excellent upholstery, stylish door panels, a
smooth dash, rich red floor mats, and a good-looking trunk with the
correct mat fitting well. This coupe gives you a proper driver's
experience with front bucket seats, a center console in-between,
and an upgraded wood-rimmed Cobra sports steering wheel.
Under the hood is a 289 cubic-inch motor that's dressed to impress
the Shelby crowd. It has the Cobra air cleaner and coordinating
Ford Motorsport valve covers taking center stage on top of the V8
block. Shelby people know to look for the curved Monte Carlo bar
running across the engine bay. It's built to give you a good feel
for the road, and there are also some nice cruising features like
the C4 three-speed automatic transmission and the upgraded 17-inch
wheels that allow for fitting proper modern tires.
The sale comes complete with the owner's manual and Shelby
memorabilia. This is a great-looking Shelby tribute with all the
right features. So don't let this opportunity pass you by. Call
