This 1977 GMC K2500 High Sierra (K20) is a cool old truck that that
spent the majority of its life in Wyoming as a ranch truck before
going to Arizona. The truck has a great look with some cool patina
and has had a lot of recent updates. This truck runs and drives
great The body on this truck is in very nice original condition. It
is a really straight truck, especially for being a ranch truck.
There are no rust issues with this truck and no rust repairs that
we could find. The paint appears to be all original and the colors
are Cordova brown and Neutral. It has a unique heavy duty rear
bumper installed, one that we have never seen before. Front Bumper
was a dealer installed winch bumper and it has a warn 6274 8,000
pound winch on it. The interior was partially redone with new seat
upholstery, new carpet, and new dash cover. The rest appears
original and is in good shape. Headlights, Taillights, blinkers,
brake lights, gauges, wipers, heat, and horn work. It still has the
original radio but no speakers.
Mechanically this truck is great! The engine is the original 400 V8
that was recently professionally rebuilt (have receipt). Everything
was replaced: heads redone, engine bored .30 over with new pistons,
rings, bearings, etc. It starts easy and runs strong! It also had a
full tune-up at that time. The truck has dual exhaust back to the
rear axle that sounds great! The transmission is the Turbo 350
Automatic that shifts nice. It was just serviced and it is mated to
the np205 transfer case. The 4WD works like it should. It has a
Corporate 14 Bolt Rear Axle with 4.10 Gears and a Corporate 10 Bolt
Front Axle with 4.10 Gears. This is a really cool and clean truck
that can be used as a daily driver, a work truck, or just a fun
weekend truck.
