Here we have a 1981 Pontiac Trans AM for sale. Made famous by
"Smokey And The Bandit" the 2nd gen Trans AM remains one of the
most iconic cars in history. 1981 was the last year for this
generation and the one we have for you has had a gorgeous
restoration completed. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a
brief description of the exterior, interior, and driveline of this
Pontiac but first we would like to tell you a little about us.

We will start off with the exterior of this Trans AM. This car was
redone in the Starlight Black Paint Scheme that's done in base coat
clear coat. It was wet sanded, buffed, and polished to a deep rich
shine that has a gorgeous finish. It's accented by the gold phoenix
graphics and pinstriping. You'll notice it has the shaker hood
along with both the front and rear spoilers that have a great fit.
Down the sides are straight and all the panels have an excellent
fit. The front and rear bumpers are both very nice as well. Looking
at the glass you can see that it's all very nice along with all the
weatherstripping and seals. To finish off the stance it's sitting
on the 15" Snowflake wheels with the gold accents and BF Goodrich
Radial TA Tires.
Next, we will look at the interior of this '81. On the inside it's
done in the classic black that flows perfectly with the exterior.
It features the bucket seats and console that houses the Automatic
Shifter. The door panels are in great condition and feature the
standard windows that go up and down with ease. Both the front and
rear seat covers are in excellent condition as well along with the
padding. Looking at the dash we can see that the pad is in great
condition along with the factory gauges and brushed accent. It has
the tilt wheel with the wrapped Pontiac Steering wheel. The
headliner has a great fit along and you'll notice new carpet was
installed along with the seal plates. Inside the trunk is all solid
from the pan to the trunk jam.
Finally, we will get to the driveline of this Pontiac. Under the
hood it's powered by the built Pontiac 400 V8 engine that's set up
with the Quadrajet Four Barrel Carb. It's dressed in the shaker
hood air cleaner along with a custom set of polished Pontiac Valve
Covers. This Trans AM has also been fitted with a Billet
Specialties Polished Front Runner Kit. It comes with the A/C
conversion along with new pump for the Power Steering. This T/A
also has Power Brakes with Disc on the front and Drums out back.
The firewall and inner fenders are in excellent condition. The 400
runs the to Turbo 400 Automatic Transmission and 10 Bolt Posi Rear
End with around 3.08 Gears. When you look under it, we can see that
floor pans are all rock solid and show no signs of abuse. The frame
is all excellent as well from the subframe to the frame rails. We
can also see that frame connectors have been added and that they
did a great job on the install. The exhaust runs through headers
with dual pipes and flowmaster mufflers. On the highway this Trans
AM runs phenomenal. Don't miss out on this iconic Muscle Car of the
