Performance, this 1969 Chevrolet Impala SS 427. The body is very
straight and appears to be very solid as well. The doors shut
properly and the body lines match up well. The interior remains in
original condition and shows very well. Highlights include power
brakes, power steering, air conditioning, bucket seats, center
console, AM radio, nice chrome and trim. The car rides on rally
wheels with redline tires.
Mechanically, the car is powered by its 427 V8 engine with a
Rochester 4 barrel, power is transferred via its 4 speed Muncie
Manual transmission. The Impala fires right up and drives and
handles very well.
The fourth generation Impala was a full-size automobile that was
built from 1965 through 1970. Every model year during this time
also featured facelifts as well making them more distinguished from
each other. This 4th generation example is sure to please and is a
solid investment.
