Concours Example. This incredible, original 280 Z was purchased at Far East Motors of Hickory, North Carolina by its first owner, and is now a four owner car with less than 21,000 miles. It is finished in Polar White over a brown vinyl interior. The car is powered by a 2.8L inline-six featuring Bosch L-Jetronic fuel injection and mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The car has the original accessories outlined in the original dealer invoice. This includes side trim, rear louvers, floor mats, and an AM/FM/8-track stereo. The factory spare and tool kit are intact.
The brakes have been overhauled including rebuilt calipers, new wheel cylinders, replacement pads and shoes, and fresh fluid. Additionally, the fuel tank and fuel system have been refreshed. This 280Z is offered with original purchase materials, tool kit, and a clean Tennessee title.
The cabin is finished in brown, with vinyl seating surfaces and matching carpets. A factory 3-spoke steering wheel and original rubber floor mats have been retained. The air conditioning still runs on R12 and blows cold.
