Vehicle Description
This 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu SS Tribute has a solid cruiser
style. Its numbers-matching V8 runs strong. The interior has some
of your favorite features. And even while this was upgraded to be a
solid Super Sport, there have been nice investments to make sure
the factory-correct package continues to look impressive.
Mojave Gold is a great color when you want to give a legendary
hardtop like this Chevelle even more distinction. The
factory-correct hue was even given a respray later in life, and
since quality endures, you still have a radiant shine today. The
couple has the look of a proper Super Sport with the cowl hood,
correct badging, and wide dual exhaust tips. Plus, the white racing
stripes are painted on top for an enduring look of sporty style.
And while the speedy details go great with the Chevelle's fastback
look, you'll also love this coupe for its fundamentals. The crisp
lines of the sheet metal, well-closing doors, good gaps, and
form-hugging chrome bumpers make this the kind of car you can drive
to the shows with pride.
The tan interior is factory-correct. Since we usually see these in
Chevelle's in black, it's nice to have premium Malibu in a bright
and distinctive color. It has a well-done style with newer
carpeting, a smooth feel to the rare brown dash, and even the dome
light works. So it's an inviting atmosphere that can be shared with
family and friends. Plus, you have well-integrated upgrades all
aimed at making this a great cruiser. You have some features that
are focused on everyone like the upgraded driving music from the
AM/FM/CD stereo with USB input, and there are also provisions for
R134a air conditioning (it likely needs a recharge to blow cold
again.) And there are also upgrades that are firmly focused on you.
This includes a movable armrest center console, auxiliary gauges
under the dash, and a Chevy sports steering wheel mounted on a tilt
column.
Under the hood is the 350 cubic-inch V8. While this is the
numbers-matching unit, you can instantly tell there have been
plenty of investments to keep it looking strong and running strong.
It starts with a $2,700 receipt from 2014 that includes a reseal
and repaint on the block. Today it also has an Edelbrock
four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, headers, and a large
aluminum radiator to help keep the full package running cool. The
coupe has a good driving attitude, especially with a three-speed
automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, front discs,
and a rear sway bar. And those polished American Racing Torq Thrust
wheels have a nice set of wide BF Goodrich T/As.
The sale comes complete with restoration photos, build receipts,
and service manuals. It all makes for the kind of all-around
classic that you can both drive and show. Call today!!!
