Garage Kept Motors.) American Perfection €" Forbes Forbes
reviewer, Kyle Edward, went on: The Chevrolet Corvette has been
around us for decades and it is particularly known for providing an
exciting driving experience at a relatively affordable price. The
car has always been able to satisfy its fanbase due to its
innovative features that are a first for any of its kind. The
latest generation is commonly called the C8 and it successfully
carries on the legacy of surprising everyone with its chiseled
exterior and an interior that looks more premium than the price tag
would have suggested. By now, the C8 Corvette is pretty well-known
to the general public, and very well known to enthusiasts. Most
Corvette fans have read the outpouring of praise heaped on the car
across the automotive and general press (as above). All the
pre-production hype for this first-ever, mid-engine 'Vette has been
well-deserved. Now that the cars are in the hands of the public and
automotive magazine editors, test drives aplenty yielded countless
profile articles. In almost every instance, the pre-production
superlatives have proven to be accurate, or even too mild.
Performance, handling, comfort, reliability, and outstanding
build-quality are all here, Perhaps the only remaining issue with
these superb sports cars is getting your hands on one. Offered here
in Arctic White over Jet Black leather is a 2020 Corvette Stingray
Coupe with a mere 3,612 miles on its odometer. The car's full range
of standard and optional equipment is documented on the factory
window sticker included in the photo gallery (and of course,
included in the sale). Effectively, this is a brand-new car in a
classic color combination. There is literally no sign of even the
most minor flaw anywhere on the body. Every piece of trim, every
square inch of every surface looks as though the car had just
rolled out of the Bowling Green, Kentucky assembly plant. (To best
assess the quality of the paint and trim finishes, be sure to view
the close-up photographs of the car in the accompanying gallery.)
The optional carbon-flash gloss-black mirror caps (the only chrome
on the body is on the quad, squared exhaust tips) is similarly
perfect. That includes the many air-intakes, all of which are
functional, and the transparent removable black-glass roof panel
(with storage bag). Factory badging-including the colorful
crossed-flags hood emblem, rear-deck stingray emblem, and rear
C-o-r-v-e-t-t-e lettering (all in black or set in black)-is
correctly in place. Original split-5-spoke, aluminum,
bright-silver-painted wheels-19 in front, 20 in the rear- (with the
Corvette logo embossed and center caps wearing the crossed-flags
emblem) are mounted with all-season run-flat tires. Needless to
say, the wheels and tires are in perfect condition as well. Inside,
the many Jet-Black leather surfaces provide a classic complement to
the exterior white. Ebony and ivory. Remaining leather surfaces
(such as on the dash, door trim, and steering wheel) are black with
gray stitching, a very handsome combination. The 8-way power, GT
contoured bucket seats are exceptional in their design and comfort.
Cabin floors are carpeted in black with protective black carpet
mats. A number of cross-flag emblems-including embossed in the
leather headrests--ensure no occupant forg
