This 1989 GMC Suburban SLE is a very clean and well maintained
truck that spent its life in California and Arizona. We believe
this is a 2 owner truck based by the binder full of receipts and
conversation with the last owner. The binder is full of receipts
from new and it was maintained with an open checkbook. We also have
the original sales order. This is just a really clean, straight,
and original truck. The body on this Suburban is in excellent
original condition and it is rust free. It is extremely clean and
we believe it still sports its original paint in the colors of
white and beige. The paint still looks great and the chrome and
moldings are still in really nice condition. The underside is also
very clean and you can still see the original primer on the floors.
There are no rust issues with this truck and there never have been.
The interior on this truck is also in excellent shape. It really is
a testament to how this truck was taken care of. Everything is
original except for the headliner which was recently replaced. It
still has the original floor mats!!! The interior is in
unbelievably nice condition and we found the lights, blinkers,
taillights, brake lights, gauges, wipers, horn, heat, cruise and ac
to be working. This truck has tilt, power windows, and power
locks.
Mechanically this truck is top notch and has been very well
maintained and any item that ever came up was fixed. The engine is
the original 5.7L 350 V8 with TBI and it runs excellent!! The
engine appears stock besides the maintenance done over the years.
It starts easy and runs strong with no issues that we could find.
The transmission is the 700R4 Automatic that shifts nice and it was
rebuilt (have receipt). It is mated to the np241 transfer case
which was also rebuilt (have receipt). The 4WD works like it
should. It has 10 Bolt Axles Front and Rear with 3.73 Gears and the
rear axle has a Limited Slip Differential. The rear axle was also
rebuilt (have receipt). This is all sitting on the original Rallye
Wheels with newer BFG All Terrains installed. What a truck!!!
