The receipts show everything from new taillights to new sheetmetal,
wiring, chrome, etc This ragtop Beetle features a chopped by
3inches top with shaved rain gutters & rounded door frames. Fuchs
wheels 195/50/R15 Kumho tires up front & 22/45/17 tires in the rear
that help show off the clean styling of an early Beetle.
The engine has received the same amount of planning & attention
starting with a 2110cc(Bore 90.5mmx82mm stroke), JCS big valve 042
heads 40mm int/35.5mm exh. valves, .430 lift/284 duration cam, 1.4
ratio rockers aluminum pistons, 8 dowel SPG pattern flywheel. Dual
44IDF Weber carbs. Ignition is provided by Magna spark distributor,
module, coil and wires
The interior features Recaro bucket seats upholstered in a
harmonizing black & Allente brown vinyl along with the door panels.
The dash is painted body color & contains the original
instrumentation along with a tach. The banjo steering wheel is in
great shape as is the accessory sun & moon horn button. Together,
these two pieces are a great focal point of the interior. A
Retrosound Vintage style digital AM/FM radio with USB & aux ports
allows you to hook up your MP3 player or phone to the radio.
The body received the same high quality build as the rest of the
car, with new sheetmetal, glass, seals, weatherstripping, light
lenses, Rossi headlights and much more. Just too much to list! The
paint is by PPG in Nutria Brown. 3 coats of base and 3 coats of
clear were applied to the car.
