Vehicle Description
1975 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible Stunning Jennifer Blue
Why This Vehicle is Special
The massive Eldorado's of the mid 70's were some of the last "land
yachts" produced for the American market. These vehicles were
large, roomy and loaded with features that kept the passengers and
driver happy.
We have such a Cadillac here at Skyway Classics It is a stunning
1975 Cadillac Eldorado convertible painted in a one year only color
of Jennifer Blue with a white bucket seat interior and working
white power convertible top.
Mechanical
Our Caddy has the big block under the hood, that appears to be the
car's original, numbers-matching engine, a large 500 cubic inch
engine that held the record for largest automotive engine since the
WWII until just recently. The V8 engine also has a ton of torque
and mated to the very strong TH425 3-speed automatic that drives a
set of highway-friendly gears through the front wheels, so the big
Eldo feels light on its feet and pulls through corners surprisingly
well.
The engine and engine compartment are very original with all the
correct stock looking parts including the factory air cleaner and
valve covers. It has had the carb rebuilt as well as the fuel pump,
new battery and spark plug wire.
It has a single exhaust system, power steering system and power
front disc brakes, with the original steel wheels wearing Caddy
hubcaps that look slick, and they're all wearing wide whitewall
radials that finish off the period look.
Interior
The Eldo's interior has a ton of factory features that include the
8-way power front plush white leather seat with a console and
matching huge rear seat, cruise control, tilt and telescope
steering wheel, power windows, power mirrors, auto climate control
with A/C, factory stereo with cassette, power antenna, power
steering, power brakes, power convertible top, and window
locks.
Out back, the big trunk houses a full-size spare and jack set and
is not at all compromised by the folding power top, so it'll carry
tons of luggage, golf clubs, or whatever.
Exterior
This gorgeous Eldorado convertible is quite stunning in color and
condition with its paint finished in a one-year-only color called
Jennifer Blue.
Contrasting the paint is the best color you could have with the
white interior and power convertible top.
All the lights and lenses are clear and bright, as are the all
badges, the famous hood ornament, and the iconic egg-crate grille,
and great chrome front and rear bumpers.
