Vehicle Description
Vintage, mean, and a whole lot of fun, this 1975 Ford Ranchero
offers you a distinctive classic. After all, with a cool color
combo and a 400ci V8 power, this makes for a cool cruiser offered
for an affordable price.
This generation Ranchero was a good place to start with when
wanting to have a bit more mean machine flair. Wide bumpers, an
angular hood, and flared fenders came right from the factory. This
one just turns the intimidation factor up a few notches. The
color-matched bumpers, side-exit exhaust, shaved trim/badging, and
faux hood scoop make for some added sporty style. The matte gray
paint is an even application, and it gives this one the kind of
upgraded attitude that makes everything from hot rods to rat rods
cool. And we love the well-coordinated dark side with the grille,
bezels, window trim, and Vector 15-inch wheel all done in an
aggressive gloss black. There's even black liner paint in the
Ranchero's bed to make this function piece look like part of the
well-coordinated style.
The interior is also distinctive with a tasteful burgundy on the
door panels and seats. And there are nice details like the
button-top presentation and dual folding armrests. You can use some
of your leftover budget from the value price to invest in upgrading
the materials, adding a stereo, restoring the factory A/C, or other
projects. But from day one it's a solid base and a complete driver.
We especially like how this generation had a driver-center dash
with sporty round gauges.
Under the hood is Ford's 400 cubic-inch V8. It's a large
displacement small block, and so that often makes for a nice base
to upgrade into quite a powerful coupe/pickup. Plus the three-speed
automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, front discs,
and wide Cooper Cobra tires deliver a solid cruising total
package.
This is the classic Ranchero that gives you a unique look today and
a value price to make for a great base for your future plans. Call
