Vehicle Description
This 1960 Chevrolet Corvette has a distinct two-tone paint,
complete chrome, and an iconic style. And with an upgraded V8
package, this makes for a great classic that's also a great
driver.
This is an ideal design year for Corvette fans. The look was a bit
sleeker than the first few years, but it still has the right
features from the first 'Vettes, like a hint of tailfin and a
genuine trunk. After all, the first-generation Corvette is an icon
in all of our hearts, so the little differences are part of the fun
of ownership. Speaking of difference, this one will be distinctive
wherever it goes. The paint is similar to 1960's Horizon Blue, but
it has a bit of a more silver tone in the sunshine. The finish
isn't perfect, but that's the kind of thing that will attract true
drivers. All others will just recognize the value of a clean and
complete car that's a good base for you to put your personal touch.
Complete also means all the best brightwork is in place, including
toothy-grille, two-piece front bumpers, and two-piece rear with
integrated exhaust. We especially like how the newer convertible
top goes with the white cove inserts and whitewalls tires for a
comprehensive two-tone style.
We love a black interior in a driver's car. It seems to convey the
right kind of sporty attitude, and it tends to show less dirt for
those who love to hop in on a whim and go for a carefree cruise. In
fact, speaking of easy driving, a Custom Autosound AM/FM digital
tuner was mounted in front of the classic AM radio so that you can
have better driving music. This has a nice look of classic
brightwork with the right amount of patina. But what really
delivers the right vintage car feeling is the commanding position
from the driver's seat that gives you a good view of the full gauge
package and the road ahead.
This Corvette has been presented as a classic with a very
drive-ready attitude, and you fully understand why when you look
under the hood. The 327 cubic-inch V8 is larger than what was
offered in 1960. We're told it was given a recent tune-up, and the
way this one runs strong reaffirms an investment in quality. There
are also good upgrades like the Holley four-barrel carburetor and
an electronic distributor. You get full control over this robust
and enhanced powerhouse with the four-speed manual transmission.
These first-gen Corvettes love to give you an unfiltered feeling of
the road, but this one also likes to give you added confidence with
the upgrade to power brakes with front discs.
When an iconic car is made to be a solid driver, you know nothing
is stopping you from enjoying this symbol of the open road. Well,
as long as you're the first to grab this deal. Call now!
