This is a very eye-catching 1976 Mercedes Benz 450SL that has been
driven, maintained and enjoyed its whole life. Originating from
California, this 450SL spent most of its life in a dry, rust free
climate. The second owner lived in Texas where he spent time until
2015. Now it resides in Indiana and the current owner has never let
it see snow! I have ALL of the maintenance records of this car
since day one! Everything is pretty much new from suspension,
brakes, exhaust, double timing chain, tires...and more. The paint
was refinished in its original color of Code 624 (Yellow). The A/C
was converted to R134a and blows cold. The 4.5 liter V8 runs strong
and it drives and handles like new. The tires as mentioned have
less than 1,000 miles on them! The exhaust system is completely new
from the engine all the way back to the tailpipe! The paint, glass,
chrome and trim are still in beautiful condition. The interior is
in good condition with some wear on the driver's seat and headrest.
The carpet is in fair condition with some wear and fade, but not
too bad. The convertible top is new and in excellent condition. The
undercarriage is very clean, dry and rust free. As mentioned, the
complete suspension, engine mounts, body mounts have all been
replaced within the last six years. All of the maintenance receipts
will be included of course along with the original owner's manual
and maintenance booklet from Mercedes Benz. Please Note The
