Acceleration and Power
The 2013 Toyota Sienna is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine that
makes 266 horsepower. A six-speed automatic transmission is
standard. The Sienna gets an EPA-estimated 18/25 mpg city/highway,
which is typical for the class. Toyota used to offer a
four-cylinder engine in the Sienna, but for 2013 the V6 is standard
across the line.
Reviewers are impressed with the Sienna's engine, saying it has
plenty of power. They also say the transmission delivers smooth,
well-timed shifts.
"The V6 is strong and smooth, even with the added weight of
all-wheel drive. The transmission delivers prompt, smooth
shifts."

Handling and Braking
Like most minivans, the best reviewers can say about the 2013
Sienna's handling is that it's inoffensive. They report that when
you push the Sienna, its size and weight become obvious. However,
they also say that on the highway and around town, the Sienna is
comfortable, quiet and smooth, which is what most minivan buyers
are looking for. The Sienna is the only minivan to offer available
all-wheel-drive.
"Sienna's handling is about what you'd expect from a minivan. Body
lean is moderate in fast turns. The steering feels fine, if a bit
over-assisted. The SE's...more sport suspension helps a bit here,
providing a bit more stability at higher speeds. The turning radius
is reasonably tight, only really hampered by the vehicle's sheer
length." - less
