Jaguar XK140 MC OTS for sale. Rare and collectible MC model
roadster (Modified, C-Type). Less than 300 known to exist
worldwide. This high performance variant boosted horsepower from
160hp to 210hp, dual exhaust, wire wheels, and the C-Type cylinder
head. All numbers matching: Chassis No: S812709 Body No: F12778
Engine No: G8649-8S Gearbox No: JL 35792MS Build Date: August 13th
1956 The "S" prefix in the chassis No. indicates this Jaguar as a
special equipment model. Engine: 3.4L Inline 6cyl Double overhead
cam. Dual SU side draft carburetors. Gearbox: 4 speed synchro
meshed manual. Purchased in 2007 from Arizona. Full restoration
began August 8th 2007, completed in July 2010. Body stripped down
to metal, show quality paint job in original Sherwood Green
(British Racing Green). Interior stripped and completely redone in
correct Biscuit color. Engine, gearbox, chassis, and suspension
rebuilt. All new electrical, gauges restored. Exterior: Paint has
been very well maintained, all brightwork redone and polished to a
show quality shine. All glass in excellent shape. Interior: In like
new condition, top and side curtains in excellent shape. Custom
case made for the removable side curtains. Underbody: As clean as
the rest of the car, extremely solid. Taken to shows, paraded, and
enjoyed since completion. Has won several awards including best of
show at Franklin Concours d'Elegance, Eyes On Design, JAGM Concours
d'Elegance, and many more. Detailed Photos of before, during, and
