When you want an iconic 1968 Chevrolet Camaro finished to an
upgraded restomod spec, it means a slick exterior, a comfortable
interior, an upgraded suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, and an
overdrive transmission. This has all that...but that's not what
you'll find irresistible. It's the fuel-injected 502 cubic inch big
block under the hood that makes this custom classic overpoweringly
seductive.
The white with black color theme is a truly timeless look. And this
one is done with the right details. The white paint has a glossy
finish that loves to show off the good fit of the sheet metal. And
the contrasting black shows off some of the best upgrades around.
This is an RS tribute with the blackout front end and hidden
headlights (currently manually operated doors.) Those black
Z/28-style racing stripes are painted on so that they look smooth
even as they highlight the cowl hood and full-width rear spoiler.
The black vinyl roof gives this the premium style for added
distinction. All the brightwork looks good so that it can shine on
the same level as the paint. But the largest polished piece to grab
your attention will be the Foose wheels, and the 18/20-inch
front/rear stagger gives this a mean stance.
The full black interior goes nicely with the exterior color combo.
And you'll notice it has a refreshed classic look with newer door
panels, plush carpeting, and insignia trim seats. As a true
restomod, you get the best upgrades. This includes an AM/FM/CD
stereo w/Bluetooth, a cup holder center console, provisions for
Vintage Air air conditioning (it will need servicing to blow cold
again.) Plus, it's also built to be a better driver. You have a
T-Type sports steering wheel, and beyond that, the full Classic
Instruments gauges are in a bright white to contrast the dark
interior. While you have the classic horseshoe shifter, the pattern
and its ratchet action tell you this far from a stock Camaro.
The 502 badges on the fender were not lying. The engine bay is
stuffed with a crate motor that's larger than anything Chevrolet
ever offered in the Camaro. This monster motor even has Edelbrock
Pro Flo electronic fuel injection for better power and consistency.
The big V8 also exhales through a wicked set of Hooker long tube
headers on it way to the X-pipe dual exhaust. There are also the
right supporting components, like a serpentine belt system, MSD
coil, an Optima red top battery, and a Be Cool aluminum radiator
with electric cooling fans. The 700R4 four-speed automatic
transmission is the ideal pairing that has a stout construction and
also has overdrive cruising. That feeds a stout 12-bolt rear end.
As you look underneath, you're going to sport plenty of upgrades,
including tubular front control arms, rear traction bars, and a
stronger frame with subframe connectors and a G Force cross member.
You also have the convenience of power steering, four-wheel power
disc brakes, and the grip of modern performance tires.
Complete with build receipts, this is the classic that was built to
eat the streets and keep you comfortable while doing it. A total
package like this wrapped around iconic sheet metal is a rarity, so
don't let it slip away. Call now!
