1965 Chevelle Malibu SS.
I bought this car from a guy about 8 years ago.
I replaced all the suspension and bushings, and removed the original 283CI engine.
While the engine was out getting a rebuild, I sent out the car for paint. There was only one place on the car that needed repaired, and it was professionally done.
The paint job was a long and expensive ($9200) process but the result is awesome. The car gets looks everyone it goes and could be a daily driver without a doubt. The engine is original and was rebuilt professionally before reinstallation.
The 350 trans was replaced with a 700R. With overdrive... it could be driven across country if required.
Installed power disk brakes on the front wheels.
I believe I replaced the radiator too... but it might have just been rebuilt. I have all the receipts, so I can look it up.
The reason that I'm selling it? I grew up around a bunch of guys that built hot rods and I was never able to do it. As an older guy, I finally got to appreciate the experience and build my car. Now, it's time to move on to the next experience.
