We'd like to introduce you to NoraJean - THE WORLD'S BEST TRAVELLED
She is a 1956 Cadillac Super Rescuer Ambulance. She was built for
the Fire Department in Isleton, CA.
The Super Rescuer was the largest and most expensive coach that
Superior Coach Company built in 1956. It was the "top of the line"
ambulance with a suggested retail price starting at $10,357. The
Super Rescuer was designed to accommodate 4 patients with 51 inches
ENGINE: 365 CID. V8
CHASSIS: Wheelbase 158", Overall Length 235.7"
BODY: Series 86 - no.154 of 286 built on a commercial chassis by
Superior in 1956
The car was found and purchased in Sealy, Texas in 2010 and was
then shipped to Perth, Western Australia. The body was stripped
back to bare metal and every panel was straightened. Many, many
pounds of lead were melted and removed from the roof allowing the
rust to be remedied and the light tunnels rebuilt.
In 2015, the car was painted, the rebuilt engine and transmission
installed, and the car was brought back to the USA where the
interior was completed in 2020.
Receipts available to prove over $70,000 invested in the
restoration of this beauty.
The meaning behind the name, NoraJean:
Nora was the seller's Grandmother who was a nurse in WW1 in France
and died during WW2.
Jean was her favorite Aunt who is 93yrs old and lives in

any kind, and all sales are final. We strongly encourage you to
inspect, in person, any vehicle you are considering purchasing.
Third party inspections are also welcomed and encouraged. To place
a vehicle on hold for 7 days to allow for an inspection, a deposit
of $500 (via credit card) is required. This deposit will be applied
to the purchase price. This deposit is refundable should you
inspect the car and decide it's not the one for you, but once you
take delivery, it's yours. All sales are final. Acceptable forms of
final payment include cash, cashier's check (once cleared), or wire
transfer. A $100 dealership service fee is added to the final
purchase price. Wisconsin residents will pay sales tax and titling
fees. Out-of-state buyers will be responsible for any applicable
taxes and registration in their state/country of residence.
