The color, stance and rich interior make this a very classy hot
rod. The performance motor, 5-speed and posi rear make it a blast
to drive. The a/c and sport seats make sure you stay
comfortable.
EXTERIOR: Gorgeous looking. The previous owner searched 2 years
looking for a clean body. It is laser beam straight down both
sides, smooth all along the bottoms. No damage, no blisters. All
the panels fit real square, doors open and close so easy. It has a
metal cowl hood. The red lipstick is polished out like glass. All
of the chrome and trim is excellent. Up front the bumper is
rechromed, the lenses, grill and headlight bezels have been
replaced. The moldings down the sides, around the windows and on
top of the doors is polished. The emblems, door handles and mirror
were replaced. In back the bumper was rechromed, new tail lights.
Door jambs are painted slick, the weatherstrips were replaced. New
windshield. It has 17 inch Billet Specialties wheels with BFG sport
tires.
INTERIOR: Very rich, classy interior. Professionally done two tone
upholstery. It has reclining sport bucket seats in front with
headrests. The door panels are custom made, has billet handles.
Custom made rear speaker shelf. Matching upholstered headliner,
visors and dash pad. Premium carpet with bound edges edges. Custom
made center console with cupholders. The metal is painted as slick
as the outside. The owner was proud of how the a/c vents were built
into the dash rather than hanging down. It has a retro stereo in
the factory hole, 6x9 speakers in back. Seat belts front and back,
they are 3 point retractable in front. New set of Autometer gauges
were installed. New heater control panel, beautiful steering
wheel.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Recently rebuilt 350-365 hp motor by Legendary
Engines. It has aluminum intake, dual feed carb with electric
choke, coated headers, Mallory ignition system. The motor and the
components are painted red to match the car. It has aluminum
pulleys. It has a cold Vintage Air system. It has fuel regulator,
chrome fuel pump, stainless braided hoses and premium fittings. An
aluminum radiator with electric fan keeps the motor cool. Updated
dual reservoir master cylinder. The engine Bay is all painted
smooth red, it has cadmium plated bolts. Upfront is a stainless
filler panel with 1966 inscribed in it. Nice finned aluminum valve
covers.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It's been boxed and custom upholstered to match
the interior. Carpeted floor. The battery was relocated to the
trunk. It's behind the panel in a battery box. Bottom of the trunk
lit and the jamb are painted slick red. New weather strip and trunk
latch.
UNDERSIDE: The front end has been completely rebuilt. Ball joints,
springs, shocks, bushings etc were replaced. Rear suspension is
rebuilt- bushings, springs, shackles and upgraded QA-1 gas shocks.
The front and back are tide together with welded in frame rails and
supports to prevent body twist. Fuel system has been replaced
including the tank, straps, sending unit and lines. It has a dual
exhaust with Dynomax mufflers. Brakes were rebuilt it has heavy
duty 11 1/2 inch drums in back and disc in front. Hoses and
brakelines were replaced, e-brake cables are hooked up. Bottom of
the motor is clean. It has a custom oil pan and high torque
starter. Recently installed Tremec 5-speed trans with a hydraulic
clutch and custom trans mount. New Quarter Master drive shaft and
u-joint assembly. 12 bolt rear end has new Moser 3.73 posi unit.
The floors under this car are super clean- the frame rails and spot
welds all look real good.
