With its 305 Chevrolet V8 and 700R4 automatic transmission with overdrive, it's set up for fun, care-free performance. Many major components are either new or refreshed. The engine has an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor on an Edelbrock aluminum intake, and the exhaust manifolds are porcelain versions from Summit that will maintain their appearance for years to come. The car was finished just 4 years ago in a beautiful PPG Cool Blue clearcoat finish, which replicates Studebaker's Riviera Blue shade. The blue theme is picked up inside with a comfy cloth interior sporting new door panels and headliner. A new tinted windshield completes the fresh exterior look. Other new items will help assure smooth sailing such as the radiator, distributor, power brake booster, power steering pump and lines, new A-frame bushings, shocks, and coils. Thoughtful touches such as a center mounted tach and classic floor shifter pay homage to the street machine scene of the era, as do the polished Summit 5-spoke wheels and staggered-size tires.
