Outstanding rotisserie restoration. Really, it's among the best.
Fit and finishes throughout, top to bottom are excellent. Only 49
miles since finished, I put 15 of those on. It drove like new too.
They started with a clean California GT.
EXTERIOR: Original clean metal. It was media blasted to bare. There
are pictures before & after. It is straight, fits right, doors shut
like new. No dents or damage, no blisters or rust. It's repainted
the correct single stage, code W1 white paint. Polished to a glossy
finish. New green vinyl top. The original stainless trim was
straightened and polished. The original bumpers were rechromed. The
grill was restored. Windshield was replaced. Jambs are slick, new
weatherstrips. Mint set of 14 inch rallye wheels are mounted on new
BF good rich tires.
INTERIOR: Pristine inside. The original dashpad, instrument panel
and switches were professionally restored. New headliner and
carpet. The seats were recushioned upholstered. New door panels.
The seat belts were reconditioned. The heater box was restored, new
heater core. The steering column was restored. All new wiring
harness. The Am-Fm radio was serviced. It is mint right down to the
little bits and pieces. Everything fits right too.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: A correct 1969 340 engine was completely
rebuilt. It has factory X heads, original intake and exhaust
manifolds. They also used correct engine mounts, brackets, pulleys
etc. Restored correct distributor. New cadmium plated power brake
booster. Factory correct 22" radiator was recored. Reproduction
transmission cooler lines. Dated spark plug wires, correct hoses
and clamps. It even has correct orange paint on the heater hose and
ground cable. The battery is bolted down properly, squirters are
hooked up. The engine bay is perfectly clean metal painted gloss
white. The Fender tag is attached. This is a highly detailed motor
compartment. Every component looks factory new.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Perfectly clean metal. It's all painted gloss
white. It has a spare, the jack is restored and mounted properly.
New trunk mat, weatherstrip, decal, marker light housing and seat
divider.
UNDERSIDE: Detailed like a brand new model car underneath. All the
metal is immaculate. The floors, frame rails, inner rockers,
factory seams and pinch welds are spotless. Correctly painted with
slop gray and a little bit of white overspray from the body. The
assembly line markings were even duplicated. Front and rear
suspension is completely rebuilt. Bushings, shocks, balljoints etc
are new. The brake system was completely restored. It has Kelsey
Hayes original discs in front. New 10 inch drums in back. New brake
lines and parking brake cable assembly. The original steering box
was rebuilt. The fuel system was restored. The tank was cleaned,
new lines and sending unit. Correct dual exhaust system from
Accurate Exhaust right to the chrome tips. Looking up at the motor
it is spotless, rebuilt starter. The Torqueflite 727 automatic was
completely rebuilt with new clutch drums, a 10" billet torque
converter and 2800 to 3200 stall from A and A transmissions. The 8
3/4 rear end was completely restored. It has new Richmond 3.91 sure
grip gears.
Really, this one of the best Restorations we have. It is obvious a
lot of attention was paid to detail. You can pay $100,000 at a shop
and only hope it turns out as nice as this car!
