2021 Dodge Challenger Drag Pak For Sale - 1 Of Only 50 Produced By
The Factory LMC is very proud to offer for sale this 2021 Dodge
Challenger Drag Pak For 2021, Dodge announced a new factory
drag-racing car based on the Challenger coupe. The 2021 Challenger
Mopar Drag Pak is a turnkey track-only dragster built to dominate
the quarter-mile, with bespoke drivetrain, chassis, suspension, and
safety equipment. According to Dodge, this is the quickest,
fastest, and most powerful Challenger Drag Pak ever offered by the
company. The engine is a 354 cubic-inch Hemi V-8 with forged
internals, topped with a 3.0-liter Whipple-type twin-screw
supercharger, culminating in an NHRA-rated output of 630 horsepower
which in reality can make closer to 1,300hp. Torque gets to the
rear wheels via a SFI approved three-speed TH400 automatic
transmission connected to a lightweight aluminum driveshaft and a
live axle built by Strange Engineering. The company hasn't released
a 0-60 time but, says the car can do the quarter-mile in as low as
7.5 seconds. The rear suspension has been totally redone for the
2021 Mopar Drag Pak, with a four-link setup utilizing longer
control arms and swing arms, as well as a wishbone link for the
lateral control arms, and a larger-diameter anti-roll bar. This
means more anti-squat control and greater stability during hard
launches. Up front, there's a specific Mopar-developed K-member,
with solid engine mounts up front and a cut-out for easy oil pan
removal. Two-way adjustable Bilstein coilovers with 10 different
settings are found on all four corners. Buyers will be able to
choose between two sets wheels, made by Bogart or Weld Racing,
respectively, both measuring 15 inches up front and 17 inches in
the rear, wrapped in Mickey Thompson drag radial tires. The latter
set is beadlock-capable in the rear, in case you have to worry
about your tires slipping on the wheel during a launch. The
interior has been stripped out to save weight, with most of the
cabin now occupied by an SFI-specification, NHRA-certified roll
cage fabricated using 4130 chromoly tubing. In addition to
providing safety in the event of a crash, the cage also acts as a
chassis brace, working with the rear suspension to increase overall
stiffness. While the original dash is still in place, the factory
gauge cluster has been replaced with individual analog gauges
reading rpm, brake pressure, and oil pressure. Additionally,
there's a Holley EFI seven-inch digital display for providing more
information on the car's status, as well as performance numbers. In
the trunk sits an SFI-certified three-gallon fuel cell, connected
to a racing fuel pump with two filters. In the engine bay, there's
an ice box to quickly cool the supercharger intercooler. There's
also wheelie bars and a 10-foot parachute as standard. Only 50
examples of these cars were produced, and this example is brand new
having never been used. It comes highly optioned with the Direct
Connection full color graphics ($6,000), Weld Racing double
beadlock wheels ($7,000) and Racetech Head Restraint Seat Kit
($5,500). If you missed your chance to order one new, here's your
oppturnity to add this factory race car to your collection.
