Here we have a 1979 Ford Mustang Cobra for sale. This is factory
ordered Cobra that comes with the Deluxe Marti Report and is a 60K
original miles vehicle. 1979 was the first year for the Fox Chassis
and 3rd Gen Mustangs. The one we have for you is done in the
factory options and is powered by the 5.0L V8 Engine. In the
paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the
exterior, interior, and driveline of this Ford but first we would
like to tell you a little about us.

We will start off with the exterior of this Cobra. You'll notice
the body is in phenomenal condition with excellent fit of all the
panels. It's covered in the factory Black color scheme that's
accented by the Green Cobra Stripes and hood treatment. The paint
it slick and has a beautiful finish. It features the blacked out
lower bumper, side trim with green accent, and rear quarter
louvers. All the glass in this Ford is in exceptional condition as
well along with all the seals and weather stripping. Out back the
rear bumper is in great condition as well. The cobras were only
offered on the Hatchback models and this one open and closes with
ease and a great fit. We can also see the dual chrome tips which
was another touch that came with the Cobras. To finish off the look
it's sitting on a set of 17" '93 model Cobra Wheels with BF
Goodrich Tires.
Next, we will look at the interior of the Mustang. On the inside
it's done in the factory color scheme with high back bucket seats
and floor mount automatic shifter. The seats are done in the
original black and white houndstooth design. All the door panels
are in great condition along with the carpet and headliner that has
an excellent fit. Looking at the dash we can see it's been very
well cared for and features the sport gauges with the in-dash tach.
All the door panels are in phenomenal condition both front and
back. The carpet inside the hatch is also in great condition.
Finally, we will get to the driveline of this Ford. Under the hood
it's powered by the factory 5.0L V8 engine. You can see that the
firewall and inner fenders are all rock solid. Its clear it was
very welly cared for over the course of its life. The 5.0 is set up
with the factory Ford intake and the Holley Carb. It's dressed in
the finned air cleaner and valve covers. This mustang does have
both the door sticker and buck tag. It comes with Power Steering
and Power Brakes with Disc on the front. For exhaust it has headers
with dual pipes flowmaster mufflers. When you look under it we can
see that the floor pans all look original and are in phenomenal
condition along with the frame. The 302 V8 runs through the
Automatic Trans and Factory style rear end. On the highway this
Cobra runs out phenomenal and is a blast to drive. It handles with
ease and all the brakes stop true.
