Vehicle Description
2004 Chevrolet Corvette Lemans Commemorative Z06
Why This Vehicle is Special
In 2004 was a big year for the Corvette. The C5 was ending its era
and the new C6 was going to debut the next year. The C5 Corvette
had historic racing victories on the international stage with a
record highlighted by back-to-back GTS-class wins in the 2001 and
2002 24 Hours of Le Mans.
This 2004 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Commemorative Edition celebrates
the final year of the fifth-generation of Corvette production with
a special tribute to Corvette Racing's Le Mans-liveried C5-R
racers.
The Commemorative Edition package included special LeMans Blue
paint with silver and red striping as seen on the C5-R,
crossed-flag embroidery on the seat headrests, silver front and
rear emblems recalling Corvette's success at Le Mans, a unique
lightweight carbon-fiber hood and special Z06 polished wheels with
commemorative center inserts.
We have a very low mileage 2004 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Lemans
Commemorative Edition coupe painted in the beautiful code 19L
Lemans Blue Metallic here at Skyway Classics that is like brand
new!
Mechanical
It didn't come any better than this when it came to a power plant
in a Corvette. It has the LS6 all aluminum 5.7-liter fuel-injected
V8 engine that put out a factory rated 405-horsepower with a
specific 6-speed manual transmission and special FE4 suspension
that contributes to the Z06's fearsome performance
Ours has the red engine covers that are the first hint of the LS6
engine and everything else on this Z06 engine looks just like it
was when it left Bowling Green in 2004.
It has a pristine engine bay and has the competition Z06 suspension
upgrade package with the fully independent suspension, rack &
pinion power steering and a large four-wheel power disc brakes with
special Z06 polished wheels with commemorative center inserts and
very fat rubber all the way around.
Interior
Inside the Z06 Corvette you will find the special fully-loaded
interior with the dual black leather power bucket seats with
crossed-flag embroidery on the seat headrests that are oh-so
comfortable.
It has all the bells and whistles with the factory Z06 dash and
gauge package, head-up display that means you never have to take
your eyes off the road during performance driving, dual zone
climate control, power windows, power locks, keyless entry, power
mirrors, power seats, cruise control, and a Bose AM/FM/CD stereo
system.
Exterior
Our Z06 has such low mileage on it the paint truly looks brand new
on the FRC style body. It is painted in the beautiful code 19L
Lemans Blue Metallic with the exclusive silver and red stripe
package, special 24 Hours of Lemans badges on the hood and trunk,
side scoops, and the rare exclusive lightweight carbon fiber hoods
that only the 2004 Commemorative Edition Z06s had.
